  Good quality halibut fish. Fries are okay. Most fish and chip restaurants have a family dinner, but not only do they force you to order separately, they won't let you substitute a salad for fries for the kids meal. Typically restaurants charge an extra $1 for the salad substitute, but here they simply won't do it. Overall, an average experience, but their rigidness was disappointing. Place is clean though. Service from Candice was good.

  Generally I love Halibut House. But this one in Port Perry- I have a couple of issues with. Firstly, my girlfriend is in a wheel chair and the washrooms aren’t wheel chair accessible. Secondly, and this is horrific. I was in the men’s washroom when the cook came in, had a pee and walked back out without washing his hands. Needless to say we left- never to return. I gave it 2 stars because it is a great franchise with great food and great prices- but this one not for us.

  This place is different from the places in Oshawa so far the staff were friendly approachable caring and coffees Good attention there other stuff is amazing place is clean atmosphere is great guaranteed you'll never eat enough you'll be too full the fish itself is not greasy find the batter to be perfect fries cooked to perfection everything's there for you tartar sauce and malt vinegar vinegar coleslaw was good it's worth the drive out there try it. I took pics. Of the restroom because there was someone complaining that there was no handicap access with the bathrooms as you can clearly see there is

  Fish is small & dry. We ordered the lunch special but when we left I look at others they look the same. I had better at Whole Food fast food and St Lawrence market. Nothing compare to ones we have at Newfoundland.

  Definitely not the best fish and chips in town. Food was mediocre at best. The chowder is not worth having. It hardly had any seafood and it was thick due to corn starch. The fish is frozen, very greasy. 3 ppl =$65. Sort of expensive for lunch without any drinks.
